DEFINITION:
- Treat others with respect; follow the Golden Rule
- Be tolerant of differences
- Use good manners, not bad language
- Be considerate of the feelings of others
- Don’t threaten, hit or hurt anyone
- Deal peacefully with anger, insults and disagreements
ACTIVITIES:
WEEK 1: Teacher Introduction of Skill - use inspiration to brainstorm
WEEK 2: Read a story to refresh students' memory of skill previously taught.
WEEK 3: Show video of example skit. Brainstorm skit. Blend groups.
WEEK 4: Write script for skit.
WEEK 5: Practice skit. Do run through.
WEEK 6: Record final production in cafeteria. Share with other classes. Have audience classes fill out teacher-created rubric.
