I have been teaching middle school Special Education since 1984.  I graduated from Penn State University with my B.S. in Special Education and finished my Masters Degree in Reading a few years later at The Johns Hopkins University.

I taught in Frederick County and Howard County, Maryland until 2000, when my family moved to California.  I currently teach at Hyde Middle School in Cupertino Union School District.
