This project was created as
a result of the excellent instruction and support from the instructional
and technical staff at the EWYL Summer 2004
Institute. The mentorship offered by them, as well as the collaboration
and advice from my colleagues at the Krause Center for Innovation
made the three weeks spent there a wonderful and productive experiece.
I would also like to thank Gay Krause,
director of the Krause Center for her vision and generosity. Her ability
to recognize the need for high quality programs for teachers is only
matched by her willingness to facilitate extensive fund-raising. To
her, and the many other donors she has gathered, I am deeply grateful.
Their donations and the resulting programs and facilities have changed
the lives of thousands of students for the better as they meet the challenges
of our technological world
