PERSUASIVE ESSAYS

Kids can take action many different ways. One way is through persuasive essays because they are very important. One reason persuasive essays are so important is because adults sometimes listen to kids but not other adults. Persuasive essays make company’s understand what they’re doing and decide if it’s even worth the money.

I have some suggestions on how to write a good persuasive essay. My best suggestion is to make the company feel good because if the company feels good they won’t consider your letter an insult. Another good suggestion is to use strong sentences because they describe problems clearly. Put your arguments in order of weakest to strongest because it makes the company feel good about changing. Finally say thank you for reading your letter.

If the company doesn’t listen to your letter, there are many other people you can write to. One person you can write to is the governor. The governor has the power to make a law that stops the company from doing bad things. However, the problem will go to other countries that are too poor to resist. A good example of this is DDT because it worked well as a pesticide, but it also gave people cancer. The U.S.A. banned the use of this pesticide but many other countries could only afford DDT. - David
