All the students will have to produce a written final draft
and one type of visual aid. The choices for the student projects
are listed below.
Project 1: Students can do a Hyperstudio
or PowerPoint presentation showcasing how they have become their own personal
hero.
Project 2: Students may paste graphics and
text in the form of a "Life Map" that shows how they went from zero
to hero on a poster board.
Project 3: Students will pick someone either
famous or family who has overcome circumstances to achieve great things.
They will bring in
photos of this
person to share with the class.
Project 4: Students may recite a poem, sing
a song, rap, or act out a skit. These may be done in English or
another language as long as there
is a translator for the
information.
